The likely schedule will be as follows:



5 days & 4 nights


DAY 1
Fly from KL to KK - no later than the 9-00 am flight

Arrive KK before 12-30 pm - check out by 01-30 pm

Bus trip to Salut Prawn farm for a sumptuous lunch

Drive to hotel but stop over at Nabalu for shopping first

Arrive at Pines Hotel by 6-00 pm - check in & relax

Steam boat Dinner at 7-00 pm

Briefing on climb by Ong at 8-00 pm

Make new friends and sing a few songs


DAY 2

Wake up at 6-00 am and pack up

Breakfast at 6-45 am at Pines Hotel

Leave for Park HQ at 7-15 am

Check in, Registration and bag weigh-ins for Porter

Local bus to Trip starting point - Timpohon

Register again - stupid but don't know why

Badge and lunch box distributed

Climb starts at about 09-30 am

Reach Layang Layang for lunch at about 01-30 pm

Reach Laban Rata at about 04-00 pm

Have Buffet Dinner at about 05-30 pm

Briefing by Ong at about 07-00 pm

Relax and try to sleep but it won't be easy

Toss and turn, toss and turn


DAY 3

Wake up at 06-00 am after a restless night

Breakfast at 06-30 am

Start Summit climb at about 07-15 am

Reach Sayat Sayat at about 09-30 am

Reach the summit at about 11-30 am

Have a good time at the top - half an hour

Start descent - back to Laban Rata at 02-30 pm

Lunch and relax - time to cement friendships

Dinner at 06-00 pm and recont stories

Sleep early or try to sleep early


DAY 4

Wake up at 06-00 am - would have slept more

Breakfast at 06-30 am

Start going down to base at 07-00 am

Reach Timpohon after descent - 01-00 pm

Reach Park HQ and rest at the Restaurant

Leader to do certs and pay Porters

Time to leave for KK at 03-00 pm

Interview on the Bus journey down

Reach Palace Hotel at 05-30 pm

Dinner at Palace Hotel and Cert-presentation

Time for enjoyment and fun

Sleep whenever you think it is OK


DAY 5
Wake up by 06-30 am

Breakfast at 07-00 am - walk with weary limbs

Leave for Island at 07-30 am

Enjoyment at Sapi - fun time for 3 hours

Back to Palace for check out at 11-30 am

Check out and lunch on your own

Depart for airport at around 02-30 pm

Depart for KL at around 05-00 pm
